You should also know that Mr. Trudeau (in responce to several convictions for medical fraud) agreed to never sell any kind of medical device or compound, including vitamins or anything health related. He is an experienced medical fraud. His book does not fall under the agreement because of the first ammendment. In any case, consder that anyone who has that much money to buy infomercial time is not doing it for your phyisical health. (Although his financial health is quite good.) Before doing what his book suggests, check out other opinions. (Good practice for any health book.)
One thing I noticed from many of the reviewers is that they point out that Kevin book doesn't contain too many natural cures in it like the title of the book would suggest. Instead you'll have to go to his website and pay a fee to learn more about these natural cures. That kinda seems like a hassel.
I have to say, I liked Trudeau's book. The bit about whole-food vitamins and minerals has totally helped me (made a bit of a nervous system problem disappear), as did the information about electromagnetic stress. It seems to be a bit of a hassel to do the things recommended in the book, but even a few lifestyle changes will make a noticible difference.
I have to agree. He has helped me as well. Kevin Trudeau is not a fraud. He didn't have Natural Cures listed in his first book because he would have been arrested if he dared to. But he faced that fear and then put them in his second book, which I can tell you is very good. If something someone writes affects the government or its profits, free speech can be thrown out of the window and the person can be arrested. And did you also know that the FDA got Congress to pass a law saying that the only thing that can cure a disease is a drug? I bought the Book-on-CD of his first book and its much better than the book itself. He gives added information that's not in the book on the CDs and you actually get to hear HIM talk. The audio version is what changed my mind about him. You can either buy it or Loan it out of the Library, as most seem to carry it. Also, you don't need to go to Amazon.com to find his new book. I read his book some time ago and I was very disappointed. For such a large book it grossly lacked any substance. I felt like I had the privilege of paying for his book that was just an advertisement for his web site which you then have to pay a lot of money to join. I had respect for him until I got his book. The book is not completely useless as there was some good information in there. Unfortunately, all of the so called cures listed in the book were for mild ailments with cures that could be found in almost any home remedy book.
Most people expect to get a book with a long list of Natural Cures and Remedies in it. But that's not the purpose of his book. The purpose of his book is to educate the public to the fact that Natural Cures are being surpressed in the US in favor of the drug companies. It also educates people as to what they can do to keep themselves healthy so they don't need to take medications and drugs. There are natural cures for Diabetes, herpes, cancer, Fibromyagia, and almost any other disease you can think of. Many have already been discovered. But most of these discoveries have been buried. Either through buying the research and rights to it from the discoverer and then hiding it from the public or making the discoverer just "disappear" before they can make it public. The fact is that you can't put a patent on a Natural Cure, so you can't make money from it. Ever sit and think what would happen if a cheap, natural cure for Diabetes was found and made public over the news? All the companies that produce testing supplies and insulin would become absolete overnight. Thousands of people would suddenly be without a job and the profit for the drug companies would come to a standstill. And just where has ALL the money that was donated to find a cure for Diabetes gone? And WHY have we still not found a cure? The same goes for cancer. Where has the money gone and why do we apparently still not have a cure? We've been looking for decades. Are the drug companies really so greedy that they would prefer people stay sick instead of be well so that they may continue to rake in the profit? Cancer can be cured through natural methods and there are doctors around that use these natural cures and therapies. But since the US passed the law of "Only a drug can cure a disease", these homeopathic and Naturapathic doctors have had to do their treatments underground. In the US, you can be arrested for curing someone of a disease without the use of a drug or standard method like radiation therapy.
There are a lot of naturally occuring chemicals in medicine, you just have to prove that they work with acceptable side effects. That is what a lot of natural remedies lack.
Somehow that seems funny to me, considering how many rediculous side effects most medicines and pills have these days. Most natural remedies and cures lack the large list of idiotic and sometimes deadly side effects that "modern medicine" routinely exhibits.
Sherlock, I appreciate your pasion, but you are going on uninformed here. If there were a law about drugs and cures, where would that leave physical therapists, chiros and optometrists? none use drugs, with the exception of eye dilation. Yes, I believe that alternative therapies should have their space in the market without undue stress from allopathic medicine. (everyone will advertise that their method is best...look at coffee, car or beer ads) But I think that simply buying into and promoting a conspiracy against ALL alternative therapies is damaging to your cause.
You don't understand what I am trying to say. I don't see how that law could affect Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and Optometrists in the first place seeing as they do not use drugs. What I was trying to say is that doctors who treat their patients using herbs and natural remedies are not supposed to do so according to the current law. So they have to go underground to operate. Many people aren't even aware that they can use alternative therapies. They just do whatever their doctor tells them. If a person has cancer, they should have the right to choose to be treated with alternative therapies, instead of drugs and chemo if they don't want them. Under the current law, a doctor can report you for not submitting yourself or your child, to drug and chemo therapies. It all depends on the doctor. I'm not saying that ALL modern medicine is bad. In fact, I believe that science has come a long way in being able to keep people alive and revive them in times of crisis. I'm just saying that people should have a choice of what type of therapy they want. No one should be forced to submit to what they don't want.
