my dad is seeing a 21 yr old hooker

I really feel like I hate my dad now. He's always been crazy and in his own world and i always just tolerated it. But now he's just disgusting in my eyes. He's 72 and seeing this 21 yr. old girl (my age!!!) that he pays $50 twice a week to have sex with. Plus he bought a 2001 ford mustang just for her to drive to keep her around, aaaannnnd he gives her money for anything else she needs. But the worst part is that he told me when he dies he's gonna leave his property to both of us (around 200 acres) He actually expects me to share the land I grew up on with some nasty gold digging skank!!!!! He's doing all this just to keep her around because he's an old pervert and no one else would ever touch him. He's filthy, lives in a trailer with practically a dirt floor cuz he never vacuums, holes in the floor, rotted out ceiling, he hardly ever bathes (and stinks!), his kitchen counter is coated in like 2 inches of overflowing nasty grease from his deep fryer thats accumulated for years. I've lost all respect for my dad now, he's just become some greasy old pervert in my eyes. He tells everyone about having sex with this nasty girl, even me! and my other brothers and sisters, and anyone who will listen. He carries a picture around to show everyone how hot she is and tells everyone about how nice her tits are and shit like that!!! i wish i could have them arrested... its soo gross. And she's just stickin around cuz she gets to drive a nice car for free and because he's promised her land when he dies, plus she doesn't work cuz she lives off the money he gives her. I know its horrible and I probably sound extremely selfish but sometimes i wish he'd just die soon before he changes his will so i don't have to deal with this problem. I love that land and have always dreamed of havin my own little farm there in the valley by the creek where i grew up and now i might have to fight over it with a freaking nasty skank hooker cuz my dad's becoming senile!!! Okay, i just needed to get that off my chest cuz I'm too embarrassed to tell any of my friends or anything. But isn't that a fucked up situation???

 

that's fucked. if I were in that situation, jeez , yeah, honestly, imho, I would totally be confronting him with it. All out no holds barred blunt honesty but with compassion. But that sux that all that happened, I hope you feel ok. bummer

At his age, maybe a doctor might help. If this behavior is different from what he used to be, he could have had a mini stroke or something. Maybe the doctor can determine if he has any symtoms of early stages of demensia - alztimers.


See a lawyer. If he is squandering his assets on this hooker, for his protection, maybe....maybe...the court could appoint a family member as his legal guardian. Take control of his assets for his benefit, paying his bills - etc, and preserving what is left. The purpose is to block the hooker from gaining control of the land and bank account.
Your brothers and sisters should be involved in this latter move if at all possible. This action is very dicey at the least. He very well may take this action as a move against him personally, and freeze you out of the land - even if the family's protection is best for him.

However, if he is in good health and always been something like you have described...then perhaps there isn't much that can be done. Reconciling this loss maybe the best for you. Someday you could buy land, maybe even 200 acres; nobody would be able to strip it from you or your family.

We had something like this in our family. My grandfather, who had demensia, married a woman only a couple years younger than him. He was 70 at the time. She attempted to strip him of everything he owned and work a lifetime with my grandmother to obtain. My dad was appointed guardian by a judge. He was able to block any land grabs (there were a couple of acres) and a lake front house. He was unable to protect bank accounts, household funishings and my grandmother's clothing. My grandfather's last wife was too old be a hooker, but she operated like one.

She Admitted To Me And My Sister That She Only Wanted He's Money And House When He Was Dead, But No, Ol' Daddy Boy Wouldn't Listen! The Funny Thing Is, She Was Killed In A Car Accident In December Last Year, The Bitch Got Nothing And Still Went To Hell... HaHaHaHa!!!

Sorry, but it is his money and such..and its not like you're a teen, your an adult..You should let your father enjoy the remaining years of his life...

 

that really bites. maybe you can come up with a creative solution to scare her away. id try to do everything you can though to save that land, cus its hard to come by.

 

Seriously, its his money, his life. Dont be selfish or greedy. I know it sounds fucked up and the girl is probably a bitch. Hes doing what he feels right, hes an old man, let him enjoy his last years doing somthing he is enjoying. Youre still going to get some of the land estate etc most likely. Be happy youre getting anything, some people dont get anything in these cases. You should be more concerned about spending time with him than trying to get his possessions.

 

I dont think its the money that shes worried about. See when you have to split the estate with someone, shes gonna have to either buy her half of the property or be forced to sell it (if I'm not mistaken) if she decides to sell it. Also the idea of having her home tainted isnt nice either.

i am really sorry about this frustrating situation of yours.. and i understand every word you said.. what i do think though is that in your dad's last years of life you should try to talk to him and open up to him more.. it seems to me there is more going on here than just the problem of the "gold digger" ... it seems that your relationship may not be the best with your dad and regardless of how hard it may seem or how much you may feel you do not want to.. opening up your heart to allow more tolerance and love for him in will really help you heal from this situation no matter what happens. i hope the best for you and that this woman is not just using your dad for possessions but even if that is the case.. which it looks like... your dad has the right to do what he feels is right with his money.. and im sure he is.. that doesnt mean that you are gonna like it... but what he does with his money is really not as important as the relationship between you and your dad now. if this problem continues to haunt you so bad , then you should definately confront him.. maybe both of them i dont know its a hard situation. im really sorry to hear that you are stuck in such a rot spot. good luck and love to you
