Man, I must say I love having songs that i love be a song for a certain time period in my life. The song you remember listening to constantly during that time. What that song can make you feel is incredible. When I listen to "Krazy" and "Pain" by Tupac, it almost litterally takes me back to last winter, living in my old house with various marijuana and other drug related expiriences. It gets so deep to the fact i feel like crying sometimes, to be honest. Also it makes me feel very happy listening to that song knowing i got through alot of hard times and such. What music can make one feel, I cant put into words. Anyone have any of those "songs".
the song "Wonderful" by Everclear takes me back to when my parents were still together and I lived like a normal family. going hiking and fishing bringing our dog everywhere. It makes me feel like crying sometimes. ever so often i lay in bed going through the song in my head as my life flashes in front of me. Before everything went to hell.
Broken Wings by 2pac takes me back to last year on holiday and Run by Snow Patrol reminds me of my ex girlfriend who was a total bitch xD
I know EXACTLY what you're feeling, man. The song "California" by Tupac totally gets me like that. Also, Blind Melon's "No Rain" instantly makes me happy because it reminds me of my first Schwagstock ever....
