Krystin doesn't have to go to schooooool.
    Krystin can prolong her procrastinaaaation.
Krystin gets to hear the bullfrogs crooooaaakin'.
Krystin hopes the power will go ouuuuut.

    AH! :D

    Dear tonight,

You will be filled with much dancing, and much smoking of the tobacco. And also much writing. Because Krystin has discovered free writing/stream of consciousness. This house will also magically appear cleaned in the morning.

    Love,
    Krystindotbumpin'.

    AHHA

I'm delighting in everyone's sig here. Oatmeal. :D It's what you get.

I made oatmeal bread tonight and it actually turned out. it's no secret that I can't make yeast breads turn out either. :D It's fuckin HUUUUUUUGE.

Krystin. Even if you get school off... Does that mean your life might actually be in jeopardy? Because.. I know it might be if you lived in say, Florida.. but in NC? Is it?

    Don't die, Kryz. :(

Have fun smoking and dancing and writing though. :D I'm too intimidated to write anything lately...

Ahaha...No, Meglet, I won't die. :D It's not even really a hurricane...Ernesto is that skinny little weak kid in math class with the taped glasses and the greasy hair.

But it's rain, nonetheless. Lots of it. And we haven't had rain in so long.

The only reason they closed school in the first place is probably because the roads down east are probably really badly flooded, and if one school in the county gets called off, then all of us do. Maybe the bridge, too. I don't even know. :D

It's stupid, but I benefit from it. :D

There's a thrift store in Swansboro that lets you take 2 fresh loaves from their little shelf...free. The first time I went there, I got some oatmeal bread. 'Twas very delicieux. I bet homemade is super-delicieux.

Good. :D I don't want any lack of poetry for my reading consumption.

The St. Vincent de Paul thrift store that my dad goes to has free bread/rolls/donuts and stuff and you can take as much of anything you want :D

yeah but it's that skinny little kid that got me out of my classes

    storm-wise

which is a thought that makes me sad

Yeah, that storm is being a total bastard for it's size. Our power and internet were out and we were afraid the basement was going to flood because there's a sump pump that pumps out excess water around the edge of the basement...

    :(

    damn, that sucks

living in the city in an apartment is completely different from back home during big storms

completely... kinda makes me feel bad because it was fun here

but i know back home the power's still out (my mom just called, which i knew would happen anyway, power goes out at home if a mosquito flies into the wires) and i'm sure there's limbs down everywhere and flooding

    it's just crazy

it's not that i miss it
it's that i feel bad for not thinking about it, or just kind of shrugging it off

in the sense of "storm wasn't bad here, shouldn't have been bad there"

when in reality, (as, well, i used to live there) and severe storm could be almost disastrous downeast

Well, don't feel bad. That's life, ya know? You move on, I guess. And everyone will be fine downeast. They always pull together and make it out alive.

Look on the bright side, bebe-we probably won't have to deal with Labor Day weekend tourists. :D
