labor day weekend get to gather here on the farm..

driveway is the driveway (first hill is the worst) hit it hard an youll make it if not run to a phone we will get ya in.... please dont park on the neighbors property at the bottom of the first hill,they frown on that, thus the run to a phone referance..

y'all ever soak hickory wood chips in water fer 24 hours before the barbie so the coals and heat steam the hickory flavoring into the meat instead of just catching fire an encrusting the meat with carbonized black hickory flavorin?

 

no we dont even gather wood 24 hours before the bbq.. if we did it get burnt in the bliss pit..

naw, the hickory chips you soak for 24 hours to flavor bar-b-que come in a bag like charcoal briquets at the store. Some people use them for smoking salmon and oysters here, some use cherry or apple chips.
