Lately, people in their late teens and early twenties have been running around the town of Brattleboro, Vermont-hanging around in the town square, riding bikes, and doing the hula-hoop nude, and even the local cops don't care! Amazing! In a country that seems so damned puritaninical, I'm shocked that even the cops in this town don't care. Apparently Vermont has a laissez-faire philosophy (?) about things like this? http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060825/od_nm/vermont_nude_dc;_ylt=AqlhTNbuxQeg8FFBvKPnwdgZ.3QA;_ylu=X3oDMTA3NW1oMDRpBHNlYwM3NTc- Although most people in the town don't seem to care, some people are complaining and apparently an ordinance is going to be considered in September to outlaw public nudity. I would have posted this in the Bare It section, but I wanted to get the opinion of a general cross-section of Hipforumers, particularly any Vermonters that happen to post here. I didn't realize that there was any place in the US that was that open-minded. If they don't outlaw public nudity, I just might move there.....If they do outlaw it, the chicks that want to keep baring it can move with me to Pluto....
Its Vermont. From what I have experianced living both in Vermont and other areas of the US, Vermont is a world unto itself.
