I love doing Kris Kringle! My family often does that at the holidays... there's just so many of us that show up at xmas, that it gets expensive, plus we make a game out of it which is kind of cool. Well she tends to remember stuff that I look at .... ie if there's a cd or dvd that I've been meaning to get but never got around to or whatnot, she gets me that... she's horrible at dropping hints though, and asking her parents is kind of useless as well.... so I'm rather stuck.
I know an easy solution to that problem. Just stop buying her gifts. She's extremely ungrateful and doesn't deserve the presents. She may be your friend, but obviously, she doesn't value your thoughtfulness. That's just plain rude and if I were you, I would've stopped giving her gifts long ago. If she asks what's up with that, you just tell her that until she learns to appreciate your friendship and take your gifts as tokens of your relationship instead of insults, she won't have any gifts to criticize. Unless she knows how you feel about it, her attitude won't change.
oh absolutely.... I know that should've sunk in a while ago, but this year I've really decided not to buy her gifts... I've opted out of giving her a birthday gift a couple months ago, and she's certainly off my xmas list... I just think it's a riot that there are people like her. Just can't appreciate anything, you know?
