i've had some mushrooms that didn't taste bad, but i've also had ones that were so gross i had to spit them out. What do magic mushrooms taste like? I plan on taking them sometime in the future and I really don't want it to taste like the gross mushrooms i've had at chinese restaurants.
ahhh true...sorry i didnt catch that at first glance. well...i personally think they don't taste horrible and if you just toss them in like...a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich it completely masks the taste.
Um, well, I had some last weekend up on the Sunshine Coast north of Vancouver and they tasted similar to an intense Shitaki.... really fine, good depth of flavor, and lots of nice bluish "bruising". I stashed some for my next trip up there, so to speak. Wouldn't mind finding some down here, though. I still think "It's a Beautiful Day" is about the best tripping music ever made.
As far as taste goes, dried Amanita muscaria are actually pretty tasty. They taste better than any cubies I've ever had. Yes, I know it isn't the same experience, but we're talking taste, not trip.
I always describe the taste of cubensis kinda like dirt. I just mask it with some food, usually a granola bar or something.
I love the tang of mushrooms as long as It opens the doors so what about the taste? The easy way around it is to boil 'em and add flavour. Love and peace (still) Happy Tripping
croutons+mushies? havent tried it but i think that the croutons would help chew up the mushies more too and whatnot... better than washing them down with milk like my friend...
