primus does suck

 

I won't say primus sucks because I respect their musical ability, but that' sjust a band I would never actually listen to, like tool.

i think they droped that phrase a long time ago...although i still heard people shouting it when i went to see les claypool last june

the crowd was chanting it when I saw primus a few years ago......

doesnt mean they necessarily suck....

But when I say 'Primus sucks' I don't mean it in the Primus way (i.e. reverse meaning... 'Primus Sucks!' is what Primus fans chant.. as opposed to 'Primus Rock'..)

Primus REALLY sucks.

Les Claypool is a bassist with some enviable skills, but the rest of the band is ordinary. They lack good songs.

I think they have a hell of a lot of good tunes......

and good albums I must say........

you need to listen to sailing the seas of cheese.

 

ok i'll admit Sailing The Seas Of Cheese is a good album.. but I don't really like any of their other albums.. maybe I haven't listened to them enough

 

expand your horizons dude. this is more music out there than pink floyd

 

now, I'm not sure whether you think Primus sucks
or you are just being a dumbass Primus fan.. (not saying that all Primus fans are dumbasses I just hate the whole 'Primus sucks' thinger)

but yeah, I never saw what the big deal was
they are pretty boring and shitty if you ask me
maybe I've just never gotten the right songs...

 

I am aware of that. But please don't tell me to expand my musical horizons, you know nothing about my horizons or how far they extend.

Also, there exist things like taste and opinions.
