I really want to order some custom labels/tags for our items (mostly clothing) to refer people back to our website, etc. I haven't decided whether to get the woven kind or the printed kind.

Does anyone have experience ordering this kind of thing? Can you recommend a company to go through? Price range to expect? This is totally new territory for me, so any advice would be appreciated!

I know that you can order through some craft stores. Look for stores that carry sewing materials or yarn. They often have ready made tags like 'Made by Gramma' or something; you can ask if you can order customable ones... or, if you're looking for a more wholesale approach, ask the retail store for their supplier's name.

It's funny you mentioned this! I just had some custom made from a girl on etsy.com! They came out fabulous. I think she offers them 50-60 for $10 and 90-100 for $18 including designing and shipping too! Also gives you the choice of silk,or cotton, and sizes!!

    Here is her link: RohmCustom

Also if you don't see it right away check her "sold" items. or contact her directly for a custom order! She was a real pleasure to work with!

A real-life friend of mine uses iron on transfer that she prints on her home computer for tags. No itchy-scratchies that way (she mostly makes kids' clothes).
