Good enough for government work as my neighbor likes to say.

 

It really is well done stuff, but for me any face conveying a negative emotion, particularly in art, is not something I want to look at for very long unless it has a surreal quality. I can snap photos of sad, angry, and scared people all day long in any public place...at least I have a chance to get one to crack a smile....a painting cracking a smile, at least in this medium, is unlikely. But yes, well drawn and/or painted, coming from another artist, little ole me the smile painter.
