The Caliphate is a unique political system from the ideology of Islam that bears no resemblance to any of the Muslim Governments today. It is a government built upon a concept of citizenship regardless of ethnicity, gender or creed and is totally opposed to the oppression of any religious or ethnic grouping. The structure of an Islamic Caliphate: The highest executive post is the post of caliph who appoints ministers without portfolio to assist in ruling, and governors for the various regions. The legislative sources are the Quran and sayings of the prophet Muhammad. While differences of interpretation of these sources can occur, as with any legislative sources, the particular interpretation adopted by the Caliph must be justified before an independent judiciary, which has the power to remove him from his post should he flagrantly deviate from the boundaries of credible legal interpretation ( ijtihad). The caliph is appointed by the people, and hereditary rule by supposed divine right is forbidden. Consultation is one of the pillars of ruling and is best served by the establishment of representative councils composed of men and women from all religions and ethnic groupings within the state. Does anyone recognize it?
Looks like your standard elective monarchy to me. Really, what's so special about it? The HRE opperated like this, several Greek city states had this arragement, the Byzantines tried it, various scandanavian countries had essentially the same system. And since when is Islam all about ecumenicalism, freedom, and equal rights anyway?
what about the apartied system of dhimmitude that non muslims have to live under thats people of the book jews and christians,... pagans atheists hindus buddhists where just killed or made into slaves . The dhimmi had to pay special taxes, they were often beaten, they didnt have the same rights in law, often they were not allowed to build or repair their houses , they had to wear special clothes or signs (thats where the nazis got the idea of the yellow star for jews a idea the taliban brought back ) . the whole idea was to humiliate them and thereby encourage them to convert or slowly wither away this is also the system that existed in isreal before the state of isreal was established and is the open aim of groups like hezbollah and hamas . notice the director of jihad in islam you have no real peace with the non muslim just hudna thats short term peace that enables the muslim to get into a better position to kill you this peace is limited in time period ....peace only comes when all the worlds muslim or ruled by muslims
yeah, they are not really being up front about the whole Dhimmi thing or that Christians and Jews are considered second class citizens. Im not even sure where anyone else would fit in because, by rights they are to submit to Allah and Muhammed or get executed. Brutal religion indeed and its BOTH a spiritual system AND a socio-economic political system. Thats what makes Islam very much different from Hinduism, Christianity or Buddhism etc.
Hinduism too is a socio economic system - it's that aspect of it which causes trouble - the caste system etc. Witness the success of the BJP, the Hindu findamentalist party in recent times. Christianity was also the socio economic system of europe for centuries and formed the basis of the feudal system. Neither of these systems, nor Islam, is a very promising model for the future.
Looks like the muslim world right now except they forget to mention who their bankers are is it the swiss or the Americans? I think their money they steal off the congregation at the mosque is probably in Switzerland with the bush family bankers
