i started the box 4 months ago and it's still only at the second person. It'll take years to get around the circle at this rate. That's why when i started it i said it's only for serious participants who can quickly pass the box along. *sigh* getting discouraged.

 

That's too bad... I really wanna get the box before I move. :*(

 

i didn't realise that there was such a rush for the box to get around because it took so long last time ... And we have been having a lot of financial struggles lately so we'll send out by Tues at the latest. I'm sorry but i've been really busy w/ school n work .

well i'm pretty sure that i mentioned somewhere to pass it along within a two week time frame because there's other people waiting for thier turns. I can understand the lack of funds for a few weeks but not for a few months. It's not like it's a hundred dollars to send. At this point i'm ready to say forget the stupid box and keep it, i am never starting one again. It doesnt matter what group of people participate, there's always a problem. And i officially dont care anymore.

 

Thanks for doing what you can Teri. I understand what it's like to have financial problems. Nic I know you are frustrated and anxious for the box to keep moving. We all are! In a perfect world everyone would receive the box, take something out, put something in and send it out in a day or two. Unfortuantely Adam and Eve messed that up for all of us years ago!! LOL It's suppose to be fun! Look at what happened with the last one. There were a lot of problems. Including financial problems on MY end. BUT IT MADE IT!! I have faith this one will too. No need to get upset with anyone.

Right on, brother. I don't think this was meant to be a high-stress activity.... And if it was, I'm sure I didn't read the fine print before I signed up.

Besides, I can't judge where somebody's money goes... I've gotta keep my internet connection in order to go to school, b/c I do most of it online. *shrugs* I'm sure it'll get mailed as soon as funds are available.

I dunno when I get mail I usually deal with it accordingly,
be it a bill,
a post card,
package of live ants,
check for $100
or a package meant to be returned to to another person.

If I took 3 months to pay a bill i'd be out on my ass.
If i never replied to teh post card I'd never get one again.
If I didnt take care of the ants they would die
If I didnt take the check to the bank it could screw up someones account or even bounce
If I didnt return a box to someone I woudl expect multiple posts in a forum wondering what my problem was.

 

The box is being sent today!! YES we are sending it . We just got back...

i haven't moved yet!! not until the 25th so i'll be looking for that box until then! then i'll mail it off as quickly as possible. I'm so excited I can't stand myself! heh.

Oh, just in case, you might want to double check that the address for Hippielngstckng is the same. My memory sucks, but I keep thinking that I remember her telling me she might be moving... I may be wrong. Worth checking into anyway.

 

i havnt seen her on the boards for a long long time. I PM'd her to let her know she was next, i hope she checks in soon. It's releiving when the box surfaces again
