but i'll be lucky to squeeze some cheap beer into my budget tonight.

hell, if i'm wishing i could afford things i can't might as well make it better.....appleton estates 21-year rum would be good, as would some macallan's single malt 15-year scotch or even some hennessy XO......and hell, why not throw in a box of ashton heritage puro sol, gurkha legends, or even graycliffs while we're at it?

    hey, a fella can dream.......

what the hell, maybe i'll dish out the full 18 bucks it costs for a bottle of regular appleton estate or something....it may not have a triple digit price, it may not even break the 20 dolar mark.....but i still like it....

who am i kidding, i'll probably settle for MGD tonight [IMG]

when it comes to whiskey i am usually a bush mills man. its expensive but not gonna kill you.
i bought a bottle of welsh whiskey as part of a friends wedding present. it was given to him with the understanding that i would drink a good bit of it with him :) 75 $ for a small bottle, but worth every penny. Give it a try sometime!

I like Canadian Mist whiskey. It tastes kinda like almonds. I drank a pint one night and I was feeling right. Other than that, if I am wishing for something, it is an abundance of potent marijuana.

its funny, tullamore was originally made and marketed as a womans whiskey, hence the reason its so smooth. They never thought it would become as popular as it has.

i dont know too much about whiskies. i've had one irish whisky, which was jameson, and fucking loved it. on the rocks its a great compliment to a very mild cigar. i've also had seegrams VO canadian whisky and it was ok, but not as good as the jameson.

bourbon whiskey i dont care much for, though. bad and recent memories.....i could probably do a jack and coke, though. still, i prefer liquor i can sip neat or on the rocks rather than mix up with pop.

i'm a bit more experienced with rum....mmmm, mmm bitches! still i never thought i'd find a liquor that suited me better than appleton estate or bacardi 8, but when i tried jameson i think i was turned on to something even better....not to say i dont still love my rum......

right now its set for a cool late summer evening....i think it will even get to be a bit chilly. it would be great to have a 75cl bottle of a rich and malty high gravity beer....

maybe maudite or don de dieu.....or even la fin du monde or trois pistoles......nah, not trois yet.....too heavy and sweet for summer, even if it is cool outside....still.....i can smell changes in the air, its getting dark slightly earlier, and its starting to cool off.....autumn is great beer weather, i can't wait :) too bad autumn is followed by ice and slush and grayness outside....

Don't be a cheapskate, ditch the MGD and get the good stuff. Btw, if you like Jameson, RELAYER is right, Tullamore Dew is better. It is very similar and a dollar or so more per bottle.
