I don't know any women who feel that way. Maybe I'm just sheltered but I can't comprehend how anyone could. Incidentally, there's a short story in the Chuck Palhaniuk (the guy who wrote Fight Club) book Haunted that relates to this in a way.

I'd recomend the book. It's gross but not guyish.

 

Rape fantasies, & real rape are two completely different things.

Gee thanks, I couldn't have worked that out on my own. It's not often I get snappy with someone, but I still don't believe that women really fantacize about being threatened, forceably held down and penetrated against their will.

 

Many fantasies often turn into reality.

But, I know the difference, I just think it a bit odd. That's all.

Rape fantasies NEVER made sense to me, but apparently they are fairly common--- it is dangerous and any woman who has rape fantasies should get counseling for it.

I actually read an article about a girl who enjoyed having her men choke her during sex until she couldn't breathe anymore, and lost a lot of boyfriends because of it... I feel that these sort of fantasies stem from some inner issue, but that's just me.

I don't think it's being "kinky" or experimental...I think it's a real problem.

There is a GREAT DIFFERENCE between kinky and rape fantasies. I am fairly experimental and can honestly say I never had any type of fantasy for a man to rape me...

I also feel that a lot of psychological issues can be exposed and brought to surface from sex. This includes but is not limited to: body image issues that create an uncomfortable feeling to have sex, depression that causes lack of sex drive, other psychological disorders that cause a TON of sex drive, past assaults that make it uncomfortable for someone to have sex, the need to be dominated such as rape fantasies [not sure where it stems from though], etc.

I can almost always tell when something isn't right with me by my sex drive and how much I enjoy sex, and what I want to do during sex.

I know I'm at my best when I'm experimental in a healthy way, using protection, have a consistent sex drive, and am not distracted during sex and enjoy it.

I heard my name mentioned...but Ive no fight left in me anymore..all I can say is after being held down by one and raped by another when I were a 15 year old virgin...maybe Im not the best person to discuss this issue with..I am somewht biased!

I really.... don't think many women would use it just for revenge. That's just my opinion... if they do, they're already fucking sick and have the capability of more than just hooking a man's penis, and are probably already some sort of criminally insane sort of person. Just my opinion.

I don't know any normal woman who would get satisfaction out of that. Most women I know get their revenge with words.

Why would you have any reason for feeling afraid of a woman "seeking revenge" if you haven't done anything wrong? I'm confused.

And just like someone else said... its just like guns and other weapons...if they fall into the wrong hands they are dangerous, but MOST normal people would not use it for anything but protection.

I don't agree or disagree with rapex, I'm just saying... your reason for being afraid of this mechanism is lame...

And I highly doubt many women would even consider purchasing something so drastic unless they are in very severe living conditions.

 

Yeah, I agree with that. ^ In this country at least, they pull that shit without a reason...They're going to prison.
Here, if I were to hit my man, & it were obvious.. (bruises ect. ) He calls the police, I get hauled off on a domestic.

 

I'll betcha most of this "devices'" detractors would say that it's use in this way is, of course, completely defendable, understandable, and not at all a bad thing. Hmmmm?

I believe this would sky-rocket the murder rate.

If a man is vicious enough to rape a woman, he would go insanely furious over this and probably bash her skull in.

A rapist is a vicious criminal and EASILY turn into a murderer.

 

Some might rather die than be raped, & what makes you think many of us aren't just as vicious?

Wow. I lost IQ points reading this thread. It's amazing how stupid some of the males of the US are. Maybe I should reconsider the idea of keeping my daughters locked in a secret bunker for the rest of their lives.
