    went out tonight
    to bask in neon light
looking for someone to hold me tight

    woke up today
    caught up in the fray
i'll find you soon i hope i pray

    then again tomorrow
    sweet lust waking in sorrow
    sins committed, forgiveness borrowed

but now what do i do?
    thoughts left to stew
will i get farther with a different shoe?

    stay on the same path
    someday encounter the wrath
of time gone by or angry women, do the math

when its all said and done
    i've had all my fun
i drank my wine and my songs were sung

so yeah, sorry about the previous encarnation of this post. see my good friend jon, fought in the military and considers himself a republican, cause in the military they tell you crazy things like democrats want to shut down the army. anyway, i was keeping him up to date on some of the latest crimes committed by the bush crime family. about how a judge in detroit ruled that the bush crime family broke over 30 federal laws including the 1st and 4th amendments. now when in a situation like this, some people will defend the 'evildoer' or resort to emergency backpeddling tactics. my friend jon, not a friend of crime, realizing that he had nothing to offer in such a discussion pulls a rush limbaugh and starts throwing out names of people on the left that stink too. well the only thing he could say was that bush was better than kerry, because of the whole flip flopping issue. during all of this, i had begun to write a new entry here on the poetry forum, but hadnt finished it, got up for a glass of water, and when i came back there was the finished product.....

    body: flip flop

and the little bastard ran away.
    sorry folks
