does anyone have any ideas for temporarily obtaining a scale capable of measuring milligrams? i had an idea that i could get a friend whose taking a lot of college chemistry type classes to borrow, rent, or able to use one from some type of institution? do you think this is possible?
www.ebay.com what are you going to be measuring, they run about $300+. theres really no need to measure anything in milligrams.
hah, like what, fentanyl? for all practical purposes, there are US Balance digitals scales that can be had for less than 50 ducks, which have resolution to .01 g (that's 10 mg increments) if you don't want to swing that, save up for a good .001g Ohaus which will run into the 4-500 dollar range (used) , at least...like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Ohaus-AR3130-Ad...5QQihZ011QQcategoryZ11814QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
www.americanweigh.com has mg scales that are alright. Not analytical balances or anything, but they do the trick.
Polymer, I'm surprised at you. A 10mg scale is no good for tryptamines or phenethylamines. I'm not gonna get into the story, but believe me, it's not. Bad news, bears. I think I understand Poodle's problem: What if you only need to weigh something very occasionally? Spending $150+ for a decent milligram scale can seem daunting. But you know, peace of mind is well worth it. I guess you could buy one off eBay, weigh what you need to, then resell it. That would make for minimum outlay of cash.
