Looks good. Nicholas Cage and Michael Pena, are in it as well as other supporting acters. I personally think this will be better then, United 93.

Do you think this a bit early to show? It HAS been 5 years or so, but yet i'm sure people will feel depressed about this film.

    Due Date ~~ August 9th, 2007!

I think by August 2007 it won't be too early. I'm assuming it'll be done in good taste. I didn't hear nearly as many objections to United 93 as I expected, which I considered to be a little disturbing, (the movie, not the lack of objection).

I'm praying this will be a great movie. I so want to see an Oliver Stone movie made by the director who created Salvador, Platoon and Born on the Fourth of July.

My biggest fear is that we might end up getting another Alexander.

If it's a great movie, August 2006 is not too soon. If it's crap, August 2050 will be too soon.

I'm just amazed Oliver Stone could actually sell out this bad, of course the firefighters and police that day were nothing but ABSOLUTE heroes, everyone knows that, if you wanna make a movie about 9/11 make it about how black ops perpetrated by people in this country and our government KILLED THOSE FIREMEN AND POLICE OFFICERS, this is the biggest tradgedy we've ever faced so why do we continually lie to ourselves and not face up to the real facts, stop ignoring 9/11.

Nothing by Oliver Stone is done in good taste. Nothing.

It looks like good acting and all that, but I don't think I can watch that movie. It's too depressing.

For that reason, they should have waited... Unless we are guarenteed win in this War, because hell I may even feel a little depressed by this film. 'Saving Private Ryan', almost killed me, but this may really do it.

I think this movie is a little more PC to put out right now than Flight 93 was. We all know that the people on that flight were real, and they all died. That was only a few years ago too, and I dunno I guess its just a little disturbing seeing what happened. If World Trade Center is more about survivors, I think it will be good.

Yes Kparker...we all know many police and firefights died on that day, and they were heroes, we also know that many passengers died and many people in the buildings died, it was a horrific tradgedy, the only thing we DONT know is who killed them....

Looks like it might be pretty good. I don't think I'll see it in theater, but it looks decent. I don't think it's too soon if it's done well.

Oliver Stone garnered praise for abandoning conspiracy theories in favor of a story about courage. Nicolas Cage is a police officer trapped in the rubble of 9/11. He and his buddy are rescued after baring their souls. Emphasis is placed on their families. Action is at street level. Only the shadow of the first plane against a building is shown as it flies toward the WTC. Stone's subtlety works. There was not a dry eye in the house. I recall the morning of September 11, 2001. I woke up at 6 A.M. I went into the bathroom, looked in the mirror and decided to shave my head. I had never done that before. I cut my hair off, shaved my head, went back to bed and went to sleep. The phone rang. It was my mother. She was crying. She said, "They've hit New York. They've hit Washington, D.C." I thought, "My God! We're in a nuclear war with China." I was actually relieved when I found out what happened.

    ghaha, another loose change plug.

IMO it just seems like hollywood isn't waiting long enough. I always thought it would be more around 10 years or so before they started making movies about 911. Its still too early for these films i think.

Loose Change is great, but full of very questionable info....watch Who Killed John O' Neill...this goes into who might have funded these attacks and covered them up, instead of relying on physical and scientific debates which can be debated until literally the end of time....www.wkjo.com

Exploitative bollocks, just like all 9-11 related films are/will be. How can anyone take Oliver Stone seriously again.. if they ever did?

boy, i bet hollywood was biting at the bit to make this one...
im sorry, i think making a movie off of a tragedy is so fucking wrong. yes, lets all get a big bucket of buttery popcorn, sit in a nice airconditioned seat with our sweetie and watch as our nation was nearly destroyed. do you know how much money these people in this movie are making FROM A TRAGEDY? is this how the us retaliates, by making movies? im sorry thats wrong.
