I have a TON of plants/herbs in my garden, but for things I can't/won't grow I have to go to other places. Recently, our nearby good ol' natural market was bought out by GNC. They carry some of the bulk herbs, but none of the harder to find ones or ones they could make more $ by selling in pill form.
Any decent online shops you frequent? I've looked into these stores for harder to find herbs and things, also essential oils of these hard to find plants would be really neat.

(My plants are apart of my family)

I've looked around and this is what I've found!

    www.alchemy-works.com looks promising for seeds
    www.mountainroseherbs.com oooh definatly organic!
www.somaluna.com Bad for my wallet! I loves me some burners!
    http://www.thecauldron.com/html/welcome.html ??
http://www.tenzingmomo.com/ I've heard the incense is good.

I havent tried these yet. Have you? I'd love to know what your favorite store is!!

I've bought oils from these guys before www.blackphoenixalchemylab.com the oils are expensive but of great quality. Cute site too. They once sold incense and bath stuff but don't anymore :(

    Check out http://www.azuregreen.com/

I usually get most of my stuff from there. Their prices aren't too bad.
They have herbs and oils and incense(oh,my) plus posters jewelery etc...

I grow most of my own herbs and make most of my own oil blends. I do order my oils from the Essential Oil Company, they have very high quality oils and carrier oils. I also make my own candles. When I do need something though I plan a trip to the Dallas/Arlington/Fort Worth area for the day and pick up what I need. Deep Woods apothecary in Arlington is one of my fav shops. I've also ordered from azure green, and eye of the day.

I get my herbs at the super market, local shops and I have grown my own(sadly I don't have much of a green thumb)

I lucked out I live close to Salem, MA there are many shops there. I just avoid Laurie Cabot's shop. She is just too pricy.
The best tools herbs and supplies are the ones you make yourself!

    I want a dragon tree...

    Not seeds but a tree...
Every once in a while Regans in Fremont CA has harder to find plants. I'm going there soon to check it out (its where I got my white sage) I need more soil anyway.
I also am in need of some Rose of Jericho but the only place I know of that has it is a drive away in Oakland www.ancientways.com which is a pretty neat store.

i get my herbs at my co-op, through CSA, or else i pick them growing wild about the city. resins, and things like oakmoss, vetivert, patchouli or sandalwood i buy at a botanica, or at a pagan shop near my home.

most of my supplies i make or improvise, or barter for at pagan festivals.

I got my order from www.alchemy-works.com and I love everything. If you get a chance (and want to) order some of the flower waxes that he has. They are just soooo wonderful. I also got some Mugwort seeds and I'll let you know how those go. Great resins as well, I recommend them!

There used to be a witchcraft shop near me, but I think it's closed down :(

So I shall have to go with mail order or make regular pilgrimages to Glastonbury and stock up.

I'm going to set up my own herb garden, so that should help.

Hmm alot of people order through azuregreen too. I've been tempted by their stuff before.

I wanted to add that I got my order from www.somaluna.com the other day and the Oman Frankincense is very very yummy, great candles too. (even though it looked like the box had been drop kicked by the PO, everything was packed well)

My seeds from www.alchemy-works.com have begun to sprout. great energy from this store.

Also I've been looking at www.capricornslair.com at all their little bottles and seals, I want some but havent head much about their products.

there's a store called Wiccashoppe near where I live, but it's a bit of a drive... they've got lots of herbs and oils etc... I go there maybe once or twice a year. This year is the first year where I've grown most of my own.

There is a shop in my town here where I know the owners. They have LOTS of herbs, and they just got a website up, so if you have time you should check it out. The name of the store is Heart of the Dragon, and the website is www.heartofthedragon.net then from there click herbs.

you'd be surprised what you can find at a regular grocery store or even an ethnic one... I've found a lot of hard-to-find herbs in more ethnic communities.

I love indian stores for that, they have a great selection of herbs and spices and they are usually less expensive too.

I am beginning, and I'm almost relegated to the low magick if you understand me - I live in a 'city' *cough, town!* of 40,000 in Ireland. There is no new age shop. There used to be a hippie one, but mainly incense in the way of magick supplies, and had to shut down. I'm a teenager and still live with my parents - no garden... It's so hard to do stuff! It's even hard to get good candles around here...

I'm stupid when it comes to herbs. Do they grow well without much sunlight? Well... nothing would I don't think. Exactly how many herbs does a person need? I've been to a lot of shops, but the things they have there seem pretty pricey and I'm in a small town, but don't know any like-minded locals.
