    hm.... what do you think?

    oso negro

    kicking horse coffee

    saltspring coffee

there was a place in lethbridge alberta that microroasted their own beans too, cant remember what it was called now though, it's been a while.

<edited to add, it's the penny coffee house>

ps, i'm not going to make a poll, 'cause i'm sure that there are zillions of other small micro roast companies that i've left out.

    soo... anyways, who's the BEST!?

superstore's tubs of The Great Canadian Coffee.

    Generic but good ;)

Never cared for Tim's Whoretown.... gives me gut rot. At least when I drink the stuff I buy there. If I buy thier coffee and brew it at home... it tastes better.

Years ago in Victoria, 7-11 (no shit... 7 fucking 11) had a blueberry coffee that was one of the best coffees that I have ever had.

ps, starbucks are the corporate whores of the coffee industry. 'real' hippies drink local microbrewed organic java. :p;)

I just make my own (ie. Maxwell house, folgers, etc.)

    I hate T.H's coffee.

Currently I'm drinking starbucks though. Found a box full of starbucks coffee bags a few weeks ago!

Tim Horton's has a majority ownership of Americans but still advertises to Canadians based on patriotic notions. This strikes me as slightly unethical.

But of course the Kind of immoral coffee-shop business practices would have to be Starbucks. I wouldn't enter one if the coffee was free.

For the record, I drink only fair-trade coffee beans from an independent coffee shop called as Cafenara.

I don't care about my coffee. as long as it's fair-trade and organic.

To be fair - they retired the "I am Canadian" slogan prior to the merger.
