I would like to voice my protest over the increasing police presence, in the form of raod blocks, that many of us have encountered in more and more over the last few years. It sucks! Land of the free my arss. Although you do have to display your braveness to travel our nations highways these days. Drug dogs should only be legal when there is already probable cause (i.e. they already have the right to search). Who wants to live in a police state? To what end have all of the tax dollars spent blocking the roads been spent? Our founding fathers would cringe at the very thought of infringing on 1000's of people rights, for the sake of busting a few people for personal weed.

I've seen 3 road blocks my whole life, one was on St. Patty's day, the other 2 were during the whole buckle up week.
Nice link...I do love my conspiracy theories. Once again I am happy with my choice not to bring a child into this F'd up world. For the record I do not mind roadblocks set up with the intention of busting impaired drivers (sobriety checkpoints). Too many Moms & Dads have lost children in alcohol related accidents for me to protest that. In particular, it's the use of drug dogs w/out the legal need for probable cause that I feel most infringes on what this country's founding fathers felt this country should be about. Brothers and sisters out there on the roads headed to festivals gathering and many other peaceful purposes are being unnecessarily targeted. For example there is a group of Federal officers that require 1 million dollars a year to employ. The only purpose that they have served since the creation of their task force is to fail at breaking up peaceful & harmless gatherings of Americans, arrested a handful of citizens for mostly marijuana possession, are corrode our constitution. Our civil liberties are being destroyed.
