thinking about heading south this winter for a month or so with my kiddo, but as a single mom, i'd need to go somewhere inexpensive and safe. oh and there has to be lots of sunshine, warm water to swim in and foresty areas. i have seasonal affective disorder, so this trip is for my mental health~want to bank on some sunshine and build up my vite d stores. also would be nice to go somewhere where there are forward thinking, kynd folks with a light in their eyes who arent driven by consumerism~maybe some kind of hippie enclave?

and i dont know about this, because i've found that often pple flake out on me, but if any other like-minded single mamas want to travel to the same place at the same time, we could hang out together, maybe share a villa or something.

I was thinking Costa Rica as well, and I'd love to travel. I'm not exactly single, but I'd like to do some single traveling... when are you planning on going? I'm pretty broke right now unfortunately, but my mental health doesn't quite depend on traveling, but man would it help. :)
