I'm sure somebody has posted this before but... I've never kissed a girl. I just turned 16 and I can tell when a girl likes me and everything I just...never follow through. I can't ever get up the courage to do it. I'm so shy, but girls seem to like me for some reason. I don't wanna sound like an ass but I know I'm not ugly. I sometimes tell myself I HAVE to do it, but at the last second I always chicken out. I guess I think too much about screwing up and what not. Idk what it is but no matter how much I like her or she likes me...I can't do it. You guys are probably going to tell me just to go for it or w/e but...I've tried...I just worry too much. Maybe I have to wait for a girl to make a move on me to give me some confidence idk. Anyway it bothers me that I'm as shy as I am.
Then it looks like I never will kiss a girl. I don't drink and I don't have friends who drink. It's stupid and people who do drink make fools of themselves.
you're only 16.. average human lives until 80.. you got a lot of time. i know a 38 year old virgin.. never even kissed a girl.. i'd worry when you're that old and getting drunk to kiss.. LAME! a first kiss should be something that you'll REMEMBER! and not barf later on.
a couple beers won't do any harm. and besides, what have you got to lose? i've had the same problem for soo much of my life. and just recently i've realized, the only things i regret in life are the things i didn't do. so just go for it!!
I didn't get laid until I was almost 17...so no sympathy for you just yet. That being said I have more than made up for it since. Don't sweat it ...you'll be at 5 or 10 by the time you are done w/ college.
seriously, a frist kiss doesn't have to be your frist kiss, your frist kiss can just be a trial one, i belive that a frist kiss is the frist one you are passionite about it all comes done to: would you rather face screwing up, or never kissing a girl, its not the end of the world if you accidently kiss her nose( keep your eyes open, at the start at least) a close mouth kiss is extremly simple, and to ease the pressure you could pratcie on your hand (or any object) and imagine the thing you want to kiss in its place as you kiss it. Then when comes to actully kissing picture what you practice, and for a fact, once you start the rest will come to you{for close mouth kissing[also picture what feels good on you will feel good on your partner(i belive 15 and 8 months is average viginity lost in america, but who wants to be like the majority, don't get mad its an uncertain fact)]} every chance missed is an memory lost...
But what if I REALLY like the girl that I am going to kiss? If I just go for it and mess it up won't she be kinda...not angry, but...disappointed, I guess? ...I just realized that If I really like her and she likes me back then it shouldn't matter how shitty the kiss is, right? I mean, should one or two bad kisses be enough to make her not like me anymore?
easy answer, the more you like her the more you have to regret if you do nothing; miss kisses won't ruin a real thing; if a relationship fails because you need a little guide on how to kiss then its not a realtionship worth worring about. and you never know maybe she never kissed anyone either, most of the satisfaction that comes from close mouth kissing is from the emotions surrounding the kiss and not the actual physical feel.
