1. The Hipforums announces it first ever fundraiser. After nearly 30 years online, we must ask our members and guests to help support the website. Thanks to years of ongoing financial support of our members, advertisers and volunteer admin staff, we have been able to keep the forums alive.

Now we must ask for help as available funds have all been used for our Internet server and other fees.

So please donate any amount to our PayPal account donate@Hipforum.com to keep the site going. If we can get enough for a few months fees, we won't need to nag you again!

Man did anyone know that Hippo's sweat an antibacterial substance....Now if ever there was a mega random fact that has got to be it...How cool are hippo's, I mean they are just like the dudes of the animal Kingdom..There are some cool things out there, penguins rock, and giraffes are up there, monkeys obviously have to be included but none of them really lift to the heights of the Hippo.....Here's to hippo's...

You know what would make my day..A hippo on a trampoline....If I saw that I could die a happy koolaid :)

nah Orang-utans are the best, did anyone watch that programme on animal planet about chantak, the genius orang-utan. He was greah he knew his own little sign language and shared food and could work keys, spanners wire cutter,s and scissors. ooh ooh and this guy put his hand into that gun shape and pointed it at chantak, and chantak put his long funny arms in the air. haha and when the guy went BANG chantak fell over. I loved that little guy.
