Can never follow a movie!!!

whenever I'm high and pop in a DVD I later realize that I stared at a screen for 2 hours (if I didn't pass out) and got nothing from it. LoL. Oh well It's worth it every time. I just find my mind wandering off from one image of the movie to a totally different topic and so on.

 

oh yeah been there. its especially hard to follow a foreign film

 

Haha, yeah I know what you mean. Best to watch something that doesn't need a lot of paying attention hehe .

serious movies are the hardest things to pay attention to. i usually go for a funny one

 

im the opposite. when im high i get hella into whatever im watching.

 

All my friends always want to watch a movie when we get high, but it's *impossible* for me. I hate sitting still, even when i'm not stoned!

I can follow movies if they're really deep or really funny. I don't mean deep as in sappyshit movies, I mean like Forrest Gump and Almost Famous. TV is the same way.

 

yes, me too, i thought i was the only one. haha i tried watching Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrells with some friends one time and we were all blazed, i practically had to stop the movie every 5 mins to explain what was going on

 

I tried to watch Underworld 2 with herbz last night and I could not pay attention, he was also high and he watched it all the way through, but I couldn't follow it. Depends on the type of movie.

Comedies are good, drama's of the more subtle/independent nature work for me, and I love watching old movies and musicals high.

 

i mostly find that the hardest thing isnt following the movie, but me staying interested/wanting to sit there for 2 hrs.

 

hmm i tried to watch the shining last night with a friend and i couldnt follow at all i ended up turning it off right before he goes axe happy because i got bored

 

yea...sorta like sitting in class isn't it?...well it is for me anyway

 

i cant last if im high at school......all the people walking around at once is too much....

i have been in situations such as this, but usually when something's on my mind and i can't chill. most of the time though im a chill bean and just absorb into whatever my eyes are presented with.

 

haha thats pretty much how it goes for me, only my whole family is like that. we will be hella blazed & eating and just get hella into a movie. haha we are some loppy ass motherfuckers. but yeah if i miss something or i didnt understand a part i will rewind it and put it on subtitles....thats how into it i get

 

That happens to me alot. But, I love when somethign really bizzare happens and you catch enough of it to be like " Wdf, was that, HAHAHAHAHA"

 

Hehe my bf and i were really effed up one night and we watched Dazed and Confused. I liked the whole movie but at the end when the credits came on I said "Huh?! It's over? Wait....did that movie have a point?" lol. It was great. I've rewatched it since.
