When I am sober, I listen to music like Phish, Floyd, The Pixies, The Dead and so on. Anytime I get really high, there is a BURNNNING desire inside of me to listen to pop music I would other wise be disgusted by, sing along and dance like a "hoe", like the Pussy Cat Dolls or that new Fergie song or Fitty Cent or Justin Timberlake. I don't know why that happens, it's probably just my inner whore releasing itself from my subconcious. Anyone else experience this?

Yeah but its soooo obnoxious, it's awesome. I just always look like a complete idiot when I'm high and driving around singing fucking Justin Timberlake "Cry Me a River" or other shit like that. I just can't listen to the Dead or anything like that high or I'll just veg out and not move for a while!
I listen to a huge variety of music when sober but it seems like whenever I get high the only things I turn on are Ben Harper, Grateful Dead, and The Beatles. Occasionally some Marely if I'm in the reggae mood.
I'm the same way, except I get blazed and want to listen to 80's music. Some reason Foreigner is the shit when I'm blazed!

Haha I was just driving and listening to "sexyback." Mucho fun. Definitely don't like "cry me a river," though. I understand what you mean. I like a lot of different things, though. From Greenday to the Dead, to bob Marley, to JT at times.
sometimes i like to listen to gangster rap when im high. especially NWA. but other than that its the dead, marley, bob dylan, and other good stuff
i didn't like Bob Marley or the Grateful Dead until i started smoking. I listen to them all the time now... other than them, i also listen to Pink Floyd, Sublime, Deftones, Nirvana, Tool, and System of a Down... a lot of others too. When i'm high, i always get the urge to watch tv shows i watched when i was in, like 5th grade. I am watching the Cosby Show now, for instance, and after this i will be viewing Full House! yes yes yes!
I recently got high with some friends when I visited back east and they were listening to this music, which I usually loathe, especially the pussycatdolls, but yeah i was high and we were going clubbing(which I also usually loathe), but yeah I think of it like that too, it my inner whore trying to break it's way out. Now if I hear that uh huh song, I go into a room by myself where no one can hear me and sing and dance to that stupid, stupid video. But now I'm listening to Imogen Heap, which is like really good pop music in my opinion, and that helps when I want to listen to pussy cat dolls or something like that. Also Robyn, because I just love her, I used to listen to her and dance to her. I danced as a kid/teenager so dance/pop music still gets me sometimes. Especially when I'm high.
Seriously? I think she looks really old. My stepbrother thought she was hot too. Now Adriana Lima, that's another story.
Ughh.... that's shitty ass music, and that's all there is to it. Yuck, all that shit gives me as a headache, and it takes away my buzz. Now, if there's some Dead, or Phishy, or even Marley or NWA, or Sublime....mmm that's my kinda high... fuck that shitty pop music...
