Don’t bother go looking for the “Why vegetarians smell good” thread, in the vegetarian forum – it was deleted too………….. Censorship is drumminmama favourite sport…….. Now you all close your eyes or pretend you are looking to the other side……….but the question remains – WHERE IS THE FREE SPEECH WE ARE SUPPOSED TO FIND HERE ???
That isn't what this site is against. If thoughts and ideas are found offensive there's nothing that can be done about it, the way I'm to understand it. The line is drawn, I believe at whether or not what is said is an intentional attack at an individual or group. I've seen racist remarks made that were overlooked because it was somebodies opinion on that group of people, but when I called that person a racist biggot I was warned that further behaviour of that nature would result in me being banned. The reason was that while they were stating an opinion, I was making accusations and remarks that attacked another persons character directly. It is slightly different when you go into a specific forum and intentionally degrade and belittle the beliefs that are held to be true in that forum. That being said if somebody went into the vegitarian forum with nothing but bad things to say about vegitarianism and vegitarians, it would be considered intentional flaming for the purpose of creating an argument. I don't know anything about this specific instance, but what I've stated thus far is my understanding of what is and isn't covered by the free speach allowed here.
