And a good one too! At a little health food store a couple miles from here. Decent pay, some nice little perks, and good benefits. Bout time!!

yea , i worked in a health foods mkt for over a year recently ....and for a shit paying job it was pleasant with all kinds of people saying this n that . better than an isolated workplace with 5 or 6 old dudes ....if you do 1 half time in back and the other on the floor with the custies .....its perfect ....

 

True. In this materialistic world people seem to forget to live.

 

I wish my wife would quit hers, and I could quit mine, and just sit on my ass all day drinking beer, getting fat and high. that would be the life.......

My boyfriend and I quit our jobs in November and spent a huge hiatus doing nothing. It was really nice, but sort of sucked when we ran out of money. But we managed to scrape by until July, when he got his job back and I got on at Dairy Queen. Now we have a crapload of shit to pay for. Man, it was so much nicer being able to tell people, "No, sorry, we just don't have the money." Heh. Feel like I'm working for absolutely nothing.

But to peaceband, congratulations! I think a health food store would be a really great place to work. At least you can go home everyday with the satisfaction of knowing you gave people healthy things, instead of the satisfaction I have of knowing I gave a bunch of people potential heart attacks. Haha.
