yeah ...and they would never be able to track on your computer all the porn sites you go to either....
Did you read my original post and check out the FCC link. All new cellphones do indeed come with a GPS receiver and then broadcast this exact location to the cellphone company for use with Enhanced 911 and the Automatic Location System. In the US these features have been mandated by the FCC.
I honestly don't really care if the government is watching me through my phone. I mean it sucks and its a violation of basic civil rights... but still. My real concern with cell phones is brain cancer. I like my brain...
I don't care about that, I just don't want the govt to know where I'm at. And to the user that mentioned brain cancer, the waves from cell phones don't cause anything.
RFID chips has such small transmitters you have to be within feet of a target to get a signal. as far as gps is concerned if you call your carriers 411 (like sprint) for directions, they know exaclty where you are without having to wait for triangulation, to me that says GPS
No I have not, cant put all posts on one page, and reading the entire topic is just a bit too boring I dont see any GPS like hardware in my phones... I used to hack and modify cell phones... Why is everybody so afraid of RFID chips? Just blow them up...
I hate my cell phone. I'm probably the only teenager i know who doesnt want it. But my mom likes to *keep track of me* Yay for 24-7 surveilance!
