Oftentimes when I'm walking by the side of the road to get someplace, (I walk just about everywhere) when I look out over the street and see all of the cars spewing their evil smelly toxic pollutants into Gaea's atmosphere I just wanna go out there and smack some of those people upside the head, I'm against violence of any kind, but how could you do something like that! It just breaks my heart how people can totally dis mother earth!
Correct me if i'm wrong but as far as i remember catalytic (sp) converters only convert carbon monoxide released into carbon dioxide, and as co2 is a greenhouse gas, they don't really help much well that's what we were taught at school haha so if someone could enlighten me with some detail i'd be grateful

Catalytic converters work by conducting heat from combusting hydrocarbons in your engine, the engine doesn't always completely combust the fuel that's injected into it, your catalytic converter then takes partially or uncombusted hydrocarbons (like CO) and forcing a reaction by the emense heat it conducts.
