a name is just a lable. one that is sufficiently unique, not too hard to pronounce and doesn't sound too much like anything obscene is as good as another.

i think of the name on my birth certificate, the one my parents gave me at birth as a kind of alias. as my "mundanely known as", as opposed to who i see myself as really being, which is themnax. and the times in my life i have felt most myself are the times when i have been known more as themnax then by anything else.

not that i've ever kept my mundanely known as any secret in real life. but themnax is far and away more who i really am.
