I'm pretty sure I've got all you all beet. I was raised in lafayette, f*cking indiana. i don't know if any of you guys have been here,(maybe you guys from crawfordsville...) but the cops here are like little Bush's running around, frantic for someone to arrest. it's crazy! also, it's like we're trying to be a "little-chicago", we've got the "taste of tippecanoe" and "dancing in the streets"<----------living here, even being raised here, you feel like your in the twilight zone. never go to lafayette!!! OO<-----two cents @manda
portage is the worst. i cant take it any more! i'm sick of this soulsucking culturebubble shithole of a town!
I love living here in Indy. It gets too hot in the summertime but other than that it is a great place to live. Haughville here. :H
I was born in Indy, but we moved upwards to itty bitty shitty Knox when I was 2 or so....(bonus points if anyone actually knows where that is!)
i live in laporte indiana its up by lake michigan another fun fact about gary is that it was liek the crime capital of america a few yrs back i dont know if it still is now....
Wow I live in Chesterton, IN. we live pretty close..it is pretty sweet to know there are people like us living close and we didn't even know it..
I live in Fountain square(well actully Twin aire) same thing basically. They are cleaning up Fountain square now.Not as bad as it used to be. I work all over the city and outlying areas. I know the city very well. There are worse things than living in Fishers or Carmel. All in all this really isn't a bad place to live if you know where to GO. (read as Go Out somewhere) Go see live music @ The music mill,or The Vogue,or Birdy's,The Mousetrap(small bar cool bands) etc.. Any Indy heads wanna talk,P.M. me Peace
i live in indianapolis and have my whole life it is boring here but i wouldnt say that i hate it, i just wish i could leave the state more and head out to the west coast for awhile
Hey, I been goin up to portage for a couple of months now to work. They were letting me stay in an apartment at the Crossings (6 & airport rd) by the school. I already met some heads and bought some decent nugz. I'm thinkin of moving there. Whaddaya think? Should I?
its a nice place to visit, but i wouldnt want to live here. i know a bunch of people in the crossings, thats right down the road. the cops are bad, but if ur a 38 white(?) male, you'll be fine. a few hip folk, but not much. there's more in the have'. i personally recomend lake county. its really close and less sketch.
i dont see why you hate Indiana i love it there. My dad has a lake house in Angola and i love it there. I usually spend my summers up there. If anyone is in the area and wants to smoke a bowl or something they should hit me up hopefully ill be up there in a couple of weeks visiting some friends
Yeah, I did notice that when I was driving my company van with an Indy phone and address on the side that cops were lookin awful hard at me. Lookin all the way from the Mcd's all the way to airport road. The tie dye might have given me away tho. Not to mention long hair and beard.I met some kind folks up there tho.Got invited to go see Chester brown in Michigan city but could not go.Heard it was a good show. I'll check it out. What about Valpo? Peace
ARGH! I live in Indy... Was born in Indianapolis, lived in Greenwood, Castleton, etc., just moved from Noblesville to Fishers... somebody SHOOT ME! Some people say Indy is great because the weather is typically mild, good cost of living, humble and quiet, crossroads of America.. what the fuck have you! BUT! I totally disagree with the latter simply because 1) Tornadoes 2) Unless you're on of those rich fucks in Hamilton County, it's pretty much a continuous, boring struggle to find something to do while evading the popo. If you live in Broad Ripple, could be fun, but you gotta be 21... <--- that rhymed! Lots of cornfields... Pacers and Colts let everyone down every fucking year... and sometimes beat up their opposing team's fans (*cough* Pacers)... Y'know, then there's the KKK and other crap... I could rant for sooooo long about this shitty state, but then I'll just get ma'self all worked up lol. I want to move to the West Coast, and if not there, I would love to live in ATL So, enough said... SCREW INDIANA!
