When someone gives me pennies, I chuck 'em. Don't need to weighed down by a bunch of useless coinage. But is it littering? If so, is it littering to throw out nickels - dimes - or quarters? How 'bout throwin a sack of one-dollar bills out the car window? Would that be grounds for a fine?
whereas you can mail a solid dollar for $.39 Throwing change on the ground is probably a federal crime. I know throwing change away as well as defacing money is. As for throwing change on the ground, it would be considered litter, by defnition, because it's not easily biodegradable.
You can have them. They're spread evenly over the ground in the Southwest, Pennsylvania, Texas, and the Pacific NW.
Yeah but considering half of them prolly landed heads up, think of all the lucky pennies I've created.
hhmm okay.. i'll be in pennsylvania for about 2 hours next saturday.. and then i'll be headed west.. go drop them in northern cali.. i hope to "land" there
Elwood: Er... what kind of music do you usually have here? Waitress: Oh we got both kinds: Country and Western.
I save all of my change. Unless I go broke, then I usually end up dipping into the jug with all the silver in it.
i should do it, but i usually end up spending my change, being a broke college student and all... but yea, my sister saves all her change, not just the pennies either. they'll be putting it in the baby's savings account at some point
