where is a beach/hippy town anywhere?

    I'm looking for a beach town full of hippies, anywhere in the world...where is it? California is becoming too...expensive, trendy, overrun...any ideas?

    hahah pretty much any beach in ontario!...i used to live ten mins away from grand bend...spent alot of my school periods in the sand! lol:D
