I personaly dont vote, look at how many years we have had governments, thousands! and since when have they solved the problems in this world, NEVER! What makes you think anything will change now To me voting is a waste of time. If you want to vote go ahead , I have nothing against voters. It's your free choice and free choice i support. Me, i will not waste my time with it. I dont think voting for any party will do much good in the end. You may get lucky and get someone in there who will solve certain things for a short period but when there time is up somebody else will just get in and undo every good thing the other person has done. Imperfect men will not be able to solve the problems in this world. It will take a higher power to do that and it will happen when the proper time comes.

If we're not to have a theocracy here, (Check out Afghanistan’s new constitution as evidence that the religious right has no problem with theocracy as an acceptable form of government-a copy is online btw) the left needs to send a strong message that it can come together and garner the votes for a mandate. At the very least, a landslide might slow the right’s tactics of using religious issues to bring back moderate republicans to the fold: abortion and gay marriage. Now more than ever, if we value our freedoms, it’s time to put aside differences and come together to send a very strong message. The days of the disorganized and powerless reactionary are over. Any vote for Nadar dilutes our chances of slowing the snowball of religious intolerance becoming mainstream politics.

You know, I'd be for Ralph Nader because of a lot of his environmental policies... but John Kerry seems pretty cool about those as well and he's the only person strong enough to stop George W. Bush. I hear Oregon wants to try to get Ralph Nader... don't know about that.

vote for who you believe in. you must be the change you want to see in the world, and if everyone voted their conscience, we wouldn't be in this mess of a 'two' party system right now.

Im sorry but it is, didn't you learn anything from the last election. Gore lost in some states that, had he recieved all the votes that went to Nader, he would have won the state with a margin. That is the truth, Nader split the vote and he can not be allowed to this time, we need Bush out.

That’s an actual quote from Gandhi.

I want to see the “left” be more strategic. We must get rid of Bush. I think that the survival of our planet depends on it. Kerry is our best chance.

    Peace

Voting on one single issue, that funnily enough does not directly affect you because you are male seems a little ridiculous, does it not? Wait, it does.

they say that if half the people who voted for Nader last election would have voted democratic, Bush would never have been president. now, i am all for Nader, I can promise you this. But I just can't see, with unbelievable importance of this election, wasting my vote on Nader. It's prety simple really, the question is Bush or Kerry? Take your pick. Voting for Nader this year might turn out to be more disastrous than we could ever imagine. Only my opinion....much peace and love to you Holly.

If only Ralph could be elected! Maybe later down the road hopefully....until then fuck Bush!

But the truth is, Gore would NOT have received all the votes that went to Nader. Less than half of them would have gone to him--the other half would have voted Bush or not voted at all. Don't quote me on this because I'm not 100% sure, but I think I read somewhere that more of those who voted for Nader in New Hampshire would have gone to Bush than to Gore, based on exit polls.

That situation will probably happen again, esspecially because there are even more conservatives who are upset with Bush, and many of them are turning to Nader. I happen to know some of them.

Even if Gore would have received half of the Nader votes he would have won.

I seriously doubt if anyone who voted for Nader would have switched to Bush. That just defies logic. Why would someone who would vote for the far-left-wing Nader vote for the far-right-wing Bush?

No, Bush wouldve won the election either way. Gore won Florida, it still went to Bush. This wouldve happened in more states if there were problems.

I'm a registered Democrat and will vote for Kerry for the fun
of doing the representation dance. Wondering about a global government capable of supporting without binding self governing Individuals....

I'm voting for Kerry. Its not because I particularly like him but more because I can't stand Bush. The Chicago Cubs have a better chance of winning the World Series than Nader has for winning the Whitehouse. Vote for Kerry ya'll. If Bush gets re-selected (oops I mean re-elected) there won't be another election. Bush will turn our country into a facist police state. Bush even said that his job would be easier is America were a dictatorship.

I'm gonna hold my nose and vote Kerry, although I have a premonition that if he wins then in four years he'll be out. He feels like another Jimmy Carter disaster in the making, to me.
