well opinions are like assholes we all know that but this is the place for opinions to go so heres mine on christianity...
i think it was just made up to make people act good and be moral.. making hell as a consequence for not being good and heaven the reward for being good. i dont know many mean or rude christians so thats good it does its job alright but there are many flaws.. like church trying to get involved with shit.. this country was founded for many reasons one being freedom of religion, so churchies fuck off. we all vote and make laws not the church. if you liek god good for you i dont. quit trying to push your fucking beliefs on other people.. like saying god is real its the truth or whatever.. let people find what they want to believe for themselves quit tryign to use propoganda like the goverment used to make people think cannabis and or hemp was bad, by giving it a name liek marihuana and saying it will make you go permanently insane.. thats obviously bullshit ive smoked a million times and know a ton of people who have and they are not insane. they are normal people who have jobs pay taxes and dont support terrorism.. any christians who think bud is bad are hypocrites and should face an eternity in a place as shitty as hell. if you'd read your own shit the book says god put all herbs bearing seed for our meat. believe in god if you want just keep your beliefs to yourselves and stop trying to make people believe the same shit. another thing.. that bullshit you've been warned jesus is coming you will remember this on judgement day fuck off... i dont believe and dont want to hear the fairy tale make believe story your mommy breast fed you till you were twenty story about going to hell if you arent good and go to church. theres my asshole.

Aren't christians citizens too? Do they have a right to make their case in the public square? It's one thing to force beliefs. it's another to state those beliefs and appeal for them. What do you mean by Christians forcing their views on people?

I agree with you to a point on the marijuana issue. i used to smoke and i think the laws in this country are screwed up in that regard. i'm not endorsing recreational smoking, but to throw someone in jail with murderers and violent criminals for it i think is insane. in fact i would say it's criminal to do that to someone. cruel and unsual punishment for something that's criminalization could definately be debated. but, from the Bible, a good case can be made that man should keep a sober mind in serving God. God created the fermentation process but drunkeness is condemned by the bible. i wouldn't base your opinion of Christianity on this country's unjust laws in that regard. i would bet most of the people writing and passing these laws have never smoked a day and know nothing about pot other than the crazy things that they hear.

 

If you don't know many mean or rude Christians why would you come in here and act mean and rude? Curse at us over Marijuana? Not all Christians support such legislation. To be honest with you I'd rather deal with someone into Mary Jane over a drunk ANY DAY. I think most Christians with knowledge of both would agree.

I agree with JLPs point about not throwing these people in jail with violent criminals. It's not a criminal issue. Now for the hard drugs I don't think it can be anything but illegal. Things like Heroin,Crack or Powder,Crank etc. are burdons on society. That's really not me coming from a Christian place as much as a person who's had friends addicted place. These things cause people to act in such immoral ways I think our society would do a WHOLE lot better without them.

Not all Christians are after what you deem important in your life. Marijuana is illegal here and it is a majority Christian country. Marijuana is also illegal in Islamic,Buddhist,Jewish, and Hindu countries. Marijuana is illegal in Communist countries. You know what country has the most easygoing marijuana laws? The Netherlands. A majority CHRISTIAN country. You should go to all the other forums and let them have it to.
