I'm pretty sure that his little girl has a touchof nitrogen deficieny, but thought I would double check. I am using miricle grow 10-10-10 1tsp per gallon and 1tsp of superthrive per gallon. I know lots of yall are anti-chem ferts, but it's what I've got goin at the moment. I just made a batch of 1 tbs per gallon miricle grow for her. Let me know your thoughts.

Edit: The Miricle grow is 24-8-16, not 10-10-10

yeah, chem fertiliizers are suppose to bad cuz they are absorbed into plants that u eat or smoke and part of that chem molecule gets into you I suppose. I ran across an article that showed leaves twice as large using Spirulina for fertilizer. Spirulina is a green algae with lots of protein in it usually used as a human helath supplement. The leaves of the Stevia plant were twice as big as normal leaves and looked real healthy. I guess plants can use protein too. You can crush up about any natural vitamin like calcium and the plant increases the quanity of whatever you feed it. My friend used deer dung and had massive F-1 hybrids in the wild, best quality ever seen said said hte newspaper article after it was found. Natural stuff has a wider array of a lot of things plants need to be healthy. Nitogen, potash and phosphorus arent the only things plants need to eat.

twice as large???? Wow. I started growing with miricle grow because it was what I knew for other plants and it had good numbers, 24-8-16 (sorry, forgot the numbers in the first post). I figured after I got a few good clones, and a little mony to play with, I would do a little test. Grow one clone using organic, and the other with miricle grow and see how they grew/smoked.

yeah you can google a source for spirulina online, it's a fine green powder. Try it on one plant, compare it to the others after a few months, I'll bet you see a big diff. hey if nuttin else you'll get your daily protein eatin brownies with pot in em.

That is one of worst magnesium deficiencies I have ever seen. Yellow intervienal chlorosis on older leaves. N def. is overall yellowing. Lay off the miracle grow. Those plants are twanged out on way too much N and K.

Put on a 4 or 5 grams of magnesium sulfate (epsom salts) per plant. First water heavily and then put on the magnesium well distributed and wash it in heavy. A little calcium wouldn't hurt either...

    ^ Good advice^

I'd also cut back on the superthrive.

thnx Nickel for the advice. For the magnesium, is it the same epsom salts that people use for their feet? or is it something special that I need to go to a specific store for? So I just sprinkle the epsom salts onto the soil and then water it in? Any particular calcium suppliment I should look for, or will it just kinda pop out at me?

Ranger- I've been putting a teaspoon of superthrive per gallon of water that I use to water them, should I do it every other gallon or less often than that?

Actually a tsp of superthrive per gallon is lethal. You are supposed to use much less of superthrive and it even has an effect using one to two drops per gallon! I never used more than a capful per gallon and that was a one time treatment.

Read the directions on the superthrive. Miracle Grow isn't too bad.

But it ain't organic is all. BOG
