I just finished this skirt last night. I have labeled it "The skirt that broke my serger"!! Originally it was to have a ruffle but you'll notice it is missing [IMG]. I was almost finished with it when CLUNK my serger broke, I can't see what is messed up but it won't sew a thing now. I have to take it in tomorrow, I'm already having withdraw and have resorted to the good ole' sewing machine.

Anyway about the skirt- it was a custom order that was cancelled and I decided to finish it anyway. I was pretty much finished when she called to cancel, sadly she had a family emergency that took her 'skirt fund', I think we can all relate. So its currently for sale unless she comes up with some cash [IMG][IMG]

    very cute!
sorry to hear about the serger!
I know what you mean...there's some things that I sew that just don't seem to get along with my machine. Then I hear "thump thump thump," and i'm thinking, "yeah, I think it's time to stop now." lol
But all I have is a sewing machine...it's held up pretty good considering the crap I've put it through, lol

Thanks for all your positive feedback. I always appreciate your comments. I'm still waiting on my serger so my sewing has hit a huge slump. It really sucks because I had one more custom order to finish and I really need it. Oh well, the custom dead pants will have to wait a little longer. I'm really itching to get back at it though, hopefully I will have something to post next week. Thanks again for all your comments.
