of why when a girl sleeps around society considers her very negatively and when a guy sleeps around society considers him more positively (you all know what I'm talking about) is the fact that people still expect men to initiate relationships. Society doesn't really care if they actually have sex or not. They just assume they are having sex. Gender roles are somewhat conservative ideals and I don't really give a damn about them (because their stupid). If a guy grows his hair out people will always be like "cut your hair, cut your hair" and if a girl has short hair people will always be like "grow your hair out, grow your hair out". This is the same concept, but more extreme. In conclusion, I look on both male and female sluts with equal contempt (none), and I blame society (most people think its the year 1980) for having such dumb ideals in the first place.
Wow....that's something noone's heard before. I think most people....even you....still look at a woman differently for being a ho as opposed to a man being one. It's common thinking, yes, but the two are different. Women run more risk doing that. There's pregnancy....yes, the man plays part, but doesn't always stick around. There's cervical cancer....caused by HPV which you catch from a lot of sexual partners who may or may not have had a lot of sexual partners. Yes, the man can get HPV, but a lot of times the symptoms (Warts) are not visible....so he spreads them like wildfire. There's rape. Yes, women who don't throw themselves at men are raped,too....but, there's still a high chance making yourself more 'available'.
I seem to remember reading that more men are raped in America than women. I'll try to find that source
haha maybe in jail. what about in everyday life in the free world? or maybe the priests are getting that statistc so high.
I don't know. I believe its possible - prison and all. I imagine that prison rape is less reported than any other type.
There is no comparison between the amount of sexual assaults experienced by women compared to those of men, even when accounting for the prison population. This is from the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault: "An estimated 91% of the rape and sexual assault victims were female, and nearly 99%of the offenders were male" It is also estimated that only 1 in 10 women report their sexual assault. It is true that sexual assaults in prison are extremely underreported due to the stigma and embarassment that goes along with a same sex assault. But keep this fact in mind- 1 in 4 college women report being the victim of attempted or completed rape. According to the Human Rights Watch only Illinois, Florida, Ohio and Texas acknowledge receiving more than 50 complaints of sexual assault in their prisons ( this was for the entire year of 1999). So of course this is extremely underreported, but even taking that into account, there is no comparison between the amount of sexual assaults experienced by men when compared to women.
It would generally be men that raped other men. While it is something that is seriously underreported, rape of women is seriously undrereported too, and I have my doubts that men are raped more. Anal rape is real rape and happens to both men and women.
I agree. I work for the ministry of community and social services and the number of sexual assaults that are reported to us, in which the victim decides not to press charges for one reason or another - the victims are predominantly female. We keep all kinds of case files like these for at least 6 six years before we destroy them. I have seen cases of male sexual assault. Plenty. With children, young males in foster care are the most vulnerable for being sexually assaulted. I've seen it. But young girls have it dramatically worse. They wind up getting raped by their foster parents, or their foster sister's boyfriend, or when they go for visitation at their birth father's place they get raped. It's impossible that male rape occurs more often than female rape in Canada. I'm sorry, it's just not true.
Huh? Are you saying that I need to find out how many men get raped in prisons?? How many do? I have no idea.
My question is serious. Why is it important to know whether men or women are raped more often? My less serious question goes back to the original subject: Is is OK for a stud to rape a slut?
Did you all read my post? I'm opposed to gender roles. If its too old or boring for you then don't fucking reply to it.
Anal rape is still rape. I have heard of cases of where women have raped men, but these cases are rarer than hens teeth. These cases have been documented. In anticipation of the obvious question “but how can a woman rape a man?”. I will say that it doesn't matter if a man has an erection, if he is being held down by several women, says no continuously, and tries to fight back; it is still rape despite his state of arousal. If a man has an erection it means he can have sex, but not necessarily that he wants to.
I want replys but if people don't like the thread then it doesn't make sense for them to reply to it.
