There are two sentences which I don't quite get what they mean in my Spanish textbook, and hope someone expert may help me correct my own translation: 1. Se me iba olvidando decirte que luego que hayas puesto la mesa, dile a Carlos que sirva el vino para que no sea necesario servirlo durante la comida. my trial: "I forgot telling you that as soon as you have put the table, tell Charles to serve the wine so that he doesn't need to serve it during the dinner." 2. Carlos siempre dice que no le gusta ir a comprar vino, doña Mercedes, y quisiera que V. misma le dijera que fuese. my trial: "Charles always says that he doesn't like to go to buy wine, Mrs. Mercedes, and he wanted you yourself to tell him to go." Yo creo que el final debería ser "and I want (wanted) you yourself to tell him to go". Pero en realidad es necesario el contexto, porque quizás es como vos decís. Creo que el resto está correcto
