R.I.P Jerry Garcia

8 Years ago today Augus 9th, 1998 the Lead Guitarist Jerry garcia past away from fadel dead. I personaly tihnk he died from a Drug overdose but others have other Stories. Jerry shall rest in peace forever and this thread is for everyone to give him comments and thanks. I thank you Jerry for inspiring many peoples lives and much more. You are my Idol Jerry Garcia!!!

i saw him at a dead concert a few years ago.

I wish I would have gotten to see a dead show with Jery.

 

I saw several and i hate the grateful dead

They played about 20 minutes from my house back in 94, but I was to young to care.

he was is an inspiration to all i went to shows with my entire family when i was a baby wearing tie dye and being passed around everyone dancing with me in their arms .... i wish i could remeber

 

i didnt even realize the date when me and my boy decided to sit in the park for hours singing & playing dead tunes on the guitar...
on the way home we heard a jerry special on the radio and realized the date.

so glad my soul remembered way before i did i had such a beautiful day and got to make all the busy city people smile about jerry's music that day

I would post a tribute to him, but I think I couldn't do it in post form. He's just had too much of an influence on me to reduce it to just a few words. Well, I guess I did anyway. He was so amazing, and changed the world in such a positive way. I love that guy. He will always live on through his music. RIP Jerry!

 

Jerry, where ever you are now... I hope you're still groovin' my brother!
