ive got a bag of shrooms, no idea what species, but i know theyre psilocybin, question is, idk how old they are and they were obviously tan at one poitn, but now have a black coating over most of the caps, its not slimy or wet, theyre completely dry, and they were in a pretty well sealed bag, so, is this mold, are they still cool to eat
if they are completely cracker dry then you can munch em away. i am not sure about the black stuff though. a picture would be helpful. probably fine though regarding the conditions they were in.
ya from what i undersatnd, mold must have oxygen to develop and they were in a tied up ziploc bag but the good news is, im trippin out my mind on dxm
DXM (dextromethorphan) is the active ingredient in Robotussin and some other cough medicines. It's a dissociative if used in large amounts. It can produce a trip like experience.
its gotta be mold.. if it was dirt he'd prolley be able to see that.. i would not eat the mold, but i would take a very fine knife, carefully cut a thin layer off the top of the cap to cut the mold off (assuming it hasnt found a way to spread throughout the cap) and then eat em makin sure there is no mold
i dont think its mold, there was no moisture, i think its rot of some sort, but theyre dry as a crackers
