Was any member of the beatles or pink floyd immigrants?

    I have a school report due on immigrants and i wanna do a cool one on the people i love. so i need to know like 60's/70's artists that were immigrants thanx!

    I think I'm right in saying John Lennon tried to get an American citizenship, but was rejected because of a marijuana conviction. He still lived in New York a good long while, so I'm not sure of the deal there exactly.

    Daevid Allen of Gong relocated to Canterbury in the UK and Paris from Australia,

    only one who springs to mind right now

    Oh and Nick Drake, if you like him, lived in England but was born in Burma apparently.

    Wasn't Cliff Richard another one of English parentage like Drake born in somewhere like India or did I make that up lol

    Hahaha, can't say I know the score with Cliff Richard. Quite suprising if it's true, thought he was as British as Cornish pasties.

    1940,

    wasn't sure if I'd just made that up before lol

    john did live in the states, and the president tried to get him out because of his power with the people and influential anti war sentiments. I forget when yoko gopt citizenship, 44 is when she dame here I think, but listen!

    yoko ono and barbara walters went to the same sarah lawrence college and missed each other by 1 or 2 years. imagine that eh? barbara walters and yoko in school together!

    Cliff Richard is diffantly Indian i Believe that the Bee Gees count as both Australian and English but you might have to check that one out

    Flea is from Australia... well, he was born there... he has a dual citizenship, I think. I can't remember. Flea rocks, though.
