Ok, since i can remember ive had tiny little white bumps all over the base of my penis (only really noticeable when erect), that just spread about 1/2 an inch to an inch upwards... now a couple of days ago i jsut got a massive one on the middle of my penis, and it hurt like hell when i tried to pop it (i got a bit of puss out) and eventually it went down and now its just a little red Im just wondering if its normal or not? Please help!
Sounds like a boil/zit. You probably need to practice better hygiene in that area. Keep it clean & dry. The little white bumps at the base might just be hair folicles. You'll know if there's a hair coming from each one. If you don't have hair there yet, you probably shouldn't even be on this site...
Lol! I got plenty of hair down there, I'm nearly 19! Thinking about it now, the white things do seem to be hair follicles though, as i just looked closely and the hair is gradually moving up the base of my penis... this boil/zit thing though...yeah i'll have to try and improve hygiene somehow, but it doesnt sound like an infection or anything then??
Ok that was just harsh! Theyre not gross or even noticeable except by my well trained eye...except for that little red thing now.... I hope it clears up by Saturday....
there'd be something wrong if you were 18 and did not have those little white bumps! no hair!! I've had an occasional 'popper' at various locations down there ever since age twelve. pop 'em and forget 'em! just don't wank with a hand (or finger) on 'em for a few days and they go away. Quit worryin' 'bout your manhood so much. if you got balls you're ok. the little white things of life happen and disappear, like ED, like facezits, like gfs, like shit. Grin and bare it all!!
The little white ones at the base of the hair folicles are called papules... but the big one is probably just a pimple... it has nothing to do with hygiene... you can get pimples everywhere you have pores in your skin, face, back, ass, penis... what ever...try to keep it clean and dry for a few days it should go away, but please dont pop it, you'll just force the pus deeper into the skin causing inflamation and possibly an infection..same rules that apply to your face...hope that helps...
Earthmamma, good advice, excepting that the penis pimples cry out for popping. They are tucked away down there like you mamma's will never understand - and go away much faster with a pop. Honest! Would I contradict my mamma without being v-e-r-y certain of my facts? NEVER. We manage to build up more clean sweat down there than you'd ever imagine. And a few drops of urine (sterile like you wouldn't believe - good old kidneys; with some added uric acid to disinfect) are usually available from an (un)fortunate manly drip, to bathe, disinfect, and help heal, once the poison is out! Nature is grand.
LOL Okay hun, As i have never owned a penis to my knowlege, I will take the word of the experts! All I know is that popping can cause infection, regardless of how tempting it is. If it were my penis, I'm not sure I'd take that chance, but hey, like I said.. it's not my penis...Pop away my darlings!
Yeah I have the same white stuff at where there is hair. But now it has come up to my penis too. I just dont think it is normal.... I dont know though
Wooo thanks for all your help guys! completely stopped me worrying now, its pretty much gone now anyway! ill just get back to joining the dots now....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fordyce's_spot check that out, i noticed them a while ago and was a little worried tbh until i looked into it =) xx
completely natural dude, i have um an i did enough research a while back, apparently it's an evolution thing haha so be proud, ur more highly evolved then alot (but definitly not all) guys.
Huh? Why? I have them, never bothered me. In fact i think this little evolutionary trend will grow to where some later generation of human will have bumpy features like on some models of vibes and dildos. That would be awesome to have O.O! It'll probably add for more stimulation during intercourse ~_^ for the girls of that generation.
