you have a lot more boxers than you do pants i love boxers i have a select three that are my favorite
i have an unbalanced amount of everything as many clothes as i've given to my cousin i could have lived the rest of my life tax-free if i gave'm to goodwill
fuckin aye. what you really should do for your own health and well-being is bring like half that to the goodwill.. and then bring half of whats left to the salvation army and then give half of whats left of that to your friends THENNN put whats left in a back pack and head the fuck outta babylon thats how i solved the problem of having way too many articals of clothing thans good for a person. mmhmm
here's how it goes i'm a pack rat i keep things for memories half of my clothes i don't even wear very often, i've just had them so long i can't give them away i'm strange like that
yeah i lived on a school bus with some of you there pack-ratters i just dont get ya guys i think its the best feelin ever to wear my patchy skirt every single day & to be able to count the rest of my belongings on one hand
i have way too much to count. mainly cause i dont beat up my crap and my upper half fits in the same clothes i wore in jr high (and some from even earlier than that). i can tell you i have a drawer overfilled with mittens, beanies and swimsuits (theres... 5 bathing suits). i have 10 pairs of sunglasses, i believe. and another drawer overfilled with belts, scarfs, bandanas and... um.. i forget what else i stuff in there. i have probably 15 pairs of shoes. all flip flops and tennies except... 2 pairs.
for the record... anyone with a ton of clothing: i didnt say shit about not being a "good hippie" for having too many clothes... infact im happy your clothes make you happy infact i'm so happy for you that the next time im thinking of dropping something at the goodwill i'll just mail it to you... uhhh i guess only if you want to each his own... anyway basically im just sayin i love you.. and theres no such thanggg as bad hippy.
that's a huge list but i'm sure mine's prolly just as long, i'm a pack rat...i want to get rid of everything and just cleanse myself of all this crap i just collect...i just can't alot of it has sentimental value so i understand where you're coming from but lucky i also understand where you're coming from and i admire you for it in the end whats the point of having all this shit...it just ends up in a house where people rummage through and take what they want and throw away the rest, my great uncle or something died and he was just like me and kept everything i say we should all just go naked and forget about all this clothes business
everything has sentimental value to me if i've had it for at least 30 days after that it becomes reminiscent as it existed during a portion of my life things happened in that portion sometimes good things, sometimes bad, sometimes big things, sometimes small they still happened, i keep things for history i'm strange :&
i have about a dozen shirts i'll wear, a half dozen pair of jeans, a pair of khakis, a pair of cargo pants, two pairs of board shorts, five or six hoodies, 3 winter jackets, a set of work clothes, and rain gear.
i was thinking about the sentimental value part of it... and nothing makes patches better than old clothes... my most favorite patches came from all the stuff i couldnt bare to part with until it was nothing but a shread of fabric...
