Okay, i really just wanted to show off my sweet little baby girl. :) hee hee. i've been having lots of fun stitching up clothes for her, my latest favorite is bloomers with an attached apron. Gives it a skort look.

    Hey Merrijayne,
We had a really good birth. It was a hospital birth. Sequoia was a planned homebirth that turned into a hospital transfer. So this time we just planned hospital so we didn't have to pay twice again. lol.
It went super quick though, 4 hours total. By the time i got to the hospital i was already dialated to 9 and the nurse was yelling at me not to push because the doctor wasn't there. They had to call an oncall Doctor to come in. i had her totally natural about 20 min. after the Dr. got there. It was kinda crazy, and sooo much different then my sons 33.5 hour labor. :) i hemorraged though, and had some other complications so i'm still kinda glad i was at the hospital.

Congrats on expecting your own little bundle of love!! Is this your first?

Thanks everyone on the sweet words about my little Sage, and her cutie bloomer skort. i'm totally addicted to making them, they are just too cute.

ok, that baby is just about the cutest little thing I've ever seen, lol
And those clothes are to die for!
I've been wanting to make some for Leane, but I thought, "by the time I finish, she'll out-grow them," so now that she's stopped growing so fast, I'm thinking that you just gave me some inspiration to go make some clothes!

Both your bambino and the clothes are adorable! I wish my daughter was still small enough to dress up like that!

    Hey!
Thanks everyone for the kynd words. My computer crashed a couple weeks ago, and i'm just finally back online.

Barefoot Kirstyn i made those bloomers really roomy, with large leg holes to fit her cloth diapers... so she won't grow out of them for a while. i also left the elastic a little long, so if the waist gets too tight i can always open it up and make it a little bigger.

The beauty of these is that once she is out of diapers, she'll be able to wear them all again (if she grows long and skinny like my son) they'll just be shorter.

You can do the same thing with open back apron dresses. Make the sizes adjustable, so once your little one is up and walking, you can reuse them as apron tops. i'm so addicted to making cute baby clothes.
    Blessings all!
