What are the best organic energy bars that you've tried? I'm trying to find a type of energy bar that has the most iron in it. It also has to taste good too! I like the clif bars, but I'm trying to find a different type that I may enjoy!

    Peace + Love

Have you tried a Luna Bar? Yuuummy! They have some organic ingredients but I don't think the entire thing is. I'm all about organics but I will eat this bar anytime cuz it's so freakin' good. And it's made specifically for women (although they're so good my babe loves eating them too). They're packed with goodness and yumminess so you get the best of both worlds! My personal fave is the Chocolate Fudge Brownie. It's a tie for 2nd between Nutz Over Chocolate & Chocolate Pecan Pie... yea.. I'm a chocolate nut. But they have a bunch of other kinds to choose from.

Lunas are very candy bar like, so be expecting sweet and it'll be good. I grab them as meal replacements for traveling. Chai is my fave. but they are too sweet to eat more than one in a day, to me.
    KIND has some good bars.

I like Luna bars too...and my boyfriend loves them...

The best part is, they contain no dairy products, nuts, or wheat...and they are mostly organic...they also contain 100% of your daily intake of Vitamin B12 :)

Larabars are the best! They all have less than about 6 ingredients in them, have 10% of daily iron, and taste good. I have a cashew cookie flavored one here right now, and the ingredients are only dates and cashews! I really like the cherry kind and banana

Kparker, Lara is a Denver company, so you are also supporting local!
THere's another company, Boulder-based, that sells at Boulder Wild Oats and at the farmers market (including mine here in Littleton) that is quite good. When I remember the name I'll post it.
