what OS?

just a lil poll to find out whats popular. what Operating System do you prefer to use or like the most?

$ i forgot OSX, since OSX is based on BSD, then i guess you can vote BSD or Other Unix. sorry, i wasnt able to post more than 10 choices.

 

You forgot MS-Dos, which is still my favorite.

 

sry, it would only allow 10 options. what version of MS-DOS do you run? or is it a version built into windows

 

who uses msdos without windows anyway?

 

I generally use Windows XP, but from time to time I will dual boot into my debian based GNU/Linux distro of choice, ubuntu.

 

OSX on my laptop, Windows XP on our desktop. I like OSX better.

 

gr8. i actually run both ubuntu and osx on my laptop. mostly osx though for my wireless because i am too lazy to get the airport extreme working in ubuntu. both are gr8 distro's.

**scratch that, airport extreme now works in ubuntu!!!

 

Like the most: The "KERNAL" of the C64.
Use the most: Fedora and some other customized linux distros.

 

windows xp for me

 

I use debian,ubuntu and windows 2000 pro for gaming

 

OSX all the way. Well not all the way, I use windows xp on my mame box, only because I don't have a copy of 98...

 

win2000 is the only MSwindows product i would use. but i run other various OS's for my everyday use. hint: OSS

I never had a problem with ME, 98 IMO was the worst.

Anyways, I run XP.
I've tried Linux (RedHat and Mandrake) but don't have a clue how to install programs.
