I will be traveling cross-country on I-80 during the first week of Aug. to the VT regional. If anyone is somewhat near my route and needs a ride, let me know. I'm looking for a rider with gas $, but I'm flexible. Gas is freakin' expensive right now and I'll probably burn 60 or 70 gallons just getting there.

Here it is Aug. 2 and I'm still out West. It sure is hard to get away, even for a short trip. To make matters worse, now I'm being pressured to stick around for dinner with my folks and siblings on the 13th. Even though my parents live close by, I don't visit them enough and it is hard for me to say no to an invitation from them. It doesn't look like I'm back on the road until the 14th and by then VT will be pretty much over. Instead of the NE, I think I might go to the NW. Spending the last two weeks of Aug. in WA sounds pretty good. They got hella good seafood in Seattle.
