1. The Hipforums announces it first ever fundraiser. After nearly 30 years online, we must ask our members and guests to help support the website. Thanks to years of ongoing financial support of our members, advertisers and volunteer admin staff, we have been able to keep the forums alive.

Now we must ask for help as available funds have all been used for our Internet server and other fees.

So please donate any amount to our PayPal account donate@Hipforum.com to keep the site going. If we can get enough for a few months fees, we won't need to nag you again!

    Hey!

Is anyone live in or near Long Beach? I go through these Threads, but there is nothing here near Long Beach. And also, does anyone know any hippie/like stores in or near Long Beach? I am having a really hard time finding one. The only store I know of is the "Generation Gap". Help would be appreciated!

    Thanks very much!

    Hey,
I'm looking for the same. I used to live in LB, but I moved to the IE. I hate it, and am going to move back to LB. I go to the beach every weekend. I grew up in the Laguna area, and things are changing. It's not nice and mellow anymore...I'm looking for my mellow beach community anywhere on the planet...any ideas?[IMG]

I wouldn't really know where to start, really, I'm not a big fan of the beach. Ironic, huh? :) I know that there aren't really any beaches that aren't jam-packed full of children. Grrr... over-population... Birth contol ought to be regulated into the water!

    Peace!
